NIAGARA JR. KNIGHTS
2024-2025 SEASON

We will be fielding development  teams in the Novice(2 teams), Peewee, Bantam and Midget age categories. Each team will consist of only 12 players (7 F and 5D) and 1-2 goalies. Bantam and Midget teams have the option of carrying more players due absences due to injury and high school sport. These teams will train locally and the Novice and Peewee teams will enter the ORHL full ice league which consists of league games,  tournaments and a Championship. In additoin our Novice teams will play in the Niagara Falls, NY Mite League in either the A or AA/AAA divisions. Looking to field a team for each division. The Bantam and Midget teams will play Prep School Hockey with the NAPHL within Canada as well as in the United Tier 1 Hockey League in the US.
We will be using local city arenas for practices and games along with our small area arena for small group and off-ice training and video review. 
​Coaching staff are non-parent certified coaches. Season starts with a training camp in August and runs till April while breaking for Christmas and March break.
Equipment required: white helmet, team hockey bag, game jerseys cover pants by RYR, white/black gloves and active wear by Buckner's Source for Sports.

All players will be insured by the AAU(American Athletic Union) for all practices, skills, games or off-ice training. 

Phase 2 Try-outs will be held on April 26/27 and May 10/11
​Location: 2350 Gainer Street, Allanburg
Times: 5:00pm - 6:00pm (Novice/Atom - 2018/2017/2016/2015/2014) - open for multiple players and goalies
6:30pm - 7:30pm (Peewee - 2013/2012) - 2 players spots open, goalies full
6:30pm - 7:30pm (Bantam - 2011/2010) - 1 player spot open, 1 goalie spot open
6:30pm - 7:30pm (Midget - 2009/2008) - 2 player spots open, goalies full

All try-out sessions will only include 6 players and max 1 goalie with 1 coach.
Players will be assessed for skating, edge work, shooting, passing, battle drills.
Only 1 session is required for all new players/goalies.
$30 per player/goalie

Uniform


A reversible jersey will be used for both on ice training and games along with personalized cover pants. On and off-ice uniforms will be ordered online.

Community Service

What we give back matters most! Every Knight makes it a priority to help give back to our communities from making Christmas cards for Longterm Care Facilities to Community Garbage Clean-up and participating in Hockey Fights Cancer Initiatives.

Fundraising

Fundraising opportunities are available. Previous fundraisers included a Golf Tournament and Meat Drives.
